The Central GST & Excise Commissionerate, Surat has been created with the implementation of GST by merging erstwhile Central Excise & Service Tax Surat-I, Central Excise & Service Tax Surat-II and Central Excise & Service Tax Valsad Commissioneare. At present the Jurisdiction of Central GST & Excise Commissionerate, Surat Commissionerate extends to Districts of Surat, Navsari, Tapi, Valsad and the Dangs of the Gujarat State.
